It is equipped with a bright 10-inch screen and a fast, intuitive interface with programmable buttons and a multi-function controller that makes navigation easy and precise in all situations. The clear color screen offers wide viewing angles and high contrast, which provides optimal visibility even in bright sunlight. The built-in 10 Hz GPS and GLONASS receiver updates position and heading ten times per second for a smooth and accurate display of your movement. The chartplotter comes without a transducer but has advanced built-in sonar capabilities, including single-channel CHIRP sonar and support for CHIRP ClearVü™ and CHIRP SideVü™. For even more detailed scanning, there is support for Panoptix™ and LiveScope™ (transducers sold separately), making the model ideal for both serious fishing and advanced navigation. The GPSMAP 1022xsv is compatible with premium charts such as Garmin Navionics+™ and Vision+™ (optional), giving you access to detailed maps, daily updates and smart route planning with Auto Guidance+™. Thanks to full networking capabilities via Garmin"s marine network and support for NMEA 2000® and NMEA 0183, you can easily integrate the chartplotter with other systems on board. Share data like charts, radar, sonar, and user information between multiple devices, and get instant access to engine information like RPM, fuel consumption, and temperature. With built-in Wi-Fi® and support for the ActiveCaptain® app, you can control, plan, and update your chartplotter from your smartphone. ANT® connectivity enables wireless connection to compatible Garmin devices like watches, wind sensors, and remote controls. For sailors, Garmin SailAssist™ offers features like laylines, wind data, and polar tables to optimize sail trim and performance. For sport fishing and precise positioning, there is support for integration with trolling motors and Power-Pole® systems, providing advanced anchoring and boat steering capabilities. You can easily transfer waypoints, tracks and routes between devices via the GPX format and also communicate via compatible inReach® devices directly from the chartplotter.
